Valentine's Day During a Recession!

What can you do to show that special person that you love them, and your pockets happen to be bare?  Got some ideas!!!
1.  Go for a walk.
2.  Make an 'old school' cd and listen to it.
3. Write a love letter, or a like letter.
4.  Go to a poetry reading.
5.  Cook a meal, make dessert.
6.  Red Box!
7.  Visit a Museum.
8.  Go ice skating.
9.  Make love, give a big hug

Valentines Already!!

Hello people!

I was out shopping yesterday for nice winter time baskets, things to make us feel warm and cozy during the brutal winter months- well those of us who have winter months.  Anyway, all the shelves are stocked with Valentine's Day goodies!!!!  I was thinking, Valentine's already!!!  Yes, Valentine's already.  Now is a good time to start thinking about what you want to get your sweetie, friends and family for Valentine's Day!  I am going to do something different this year.  I will keep you all posted!!!

Another Hot Cocoa Idea!

Good Morning! Previously, I spoke about the 'Girl Scout Cookie Cocoa' I tasted at Ale Mary's In Fells Point, Baltimore, MD.  I actually bought the ingredients and have decided I will have one frequently!!  Now, I have come across several hot cocoa recipes!  The one that caught my eye was Minty Hot Cocoa Float!  This has 1/4 cup of mint chocolate chip ice cream and a sprig of fresh mint added to the cocoa!!!  I am going to try this - and I'll get back to you on how it comes out!!!

Great Chocolate Candy -Perfect Gift

My coworker brought these to work over the holiday.  We all had one and they were WONDERFUL! The inside is liquid Grand Marnier - Wow!!  Delish.  This would compliment a coffee or hot cocoa gift basket!

New Gift Idea

Went to Ale Mary's Pub in Fells Point, Baltimore, MD.  The chef- Mary - who also happens to be the owner is a MARVELOUS cook!  I had the Caesar Salad, with steak.  The steak was seasoned perfectly!!!!  My husband had the steak sandwich with tots (tater tots).  All the food was delicious, yes I ate off of his plate as well!!  My new gift idea comes from the BEVERAGE I chose.  Girl Scout Cookie Cocoa!!!  This hot cocoa was awesome!!!!  The basket will be the Girl Scout Cookie Cocoa Mini.  In it, I will put Peppermint Schnapps, Bailey's and Starbucks Hot Cocoa with a mug!!  NICE winter time drink!  What do you think?
